Third installment of MN-SAARC Badminton Tournament. A day packed with actions and adventures! Congratulations Sarthak Jain and Samarth Sirahatti for winning the championship. Your nimble movement in the court was magnificent today. I am happy to share that Vignesh Asokan and I secured runners up again this year. Thanks Vignesh for putting all the effort. We will come back stronger in the next tournament.
Congratulations to all other winners in respective brackets. Special mention goes to Raquib Ridwan and Dhruba Chowdhury for travelling all the way from Chicago and winning trophies. Well done.
This year a handful of players from Bangladesh Athletic Club - Twin Cities joined the tournament. Thank you all who came out of your comfort zone and made the tournament a vibrant one. The BAC bagged a handful of trophies as well.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the organizers, Wasim Akram, Oz Khan, and Furhath Arnob. Also special thanks to the volunteers Shahadat Shimul and Tanbeer Ahmed for their contribution in managing the matches well. Heartfelt thanks to our local designer Nusrat Sharmin for well crafted jerseys.
I am dedicating all the trophies of this year to my sons. Nonetheless, nothing would have been possible without tremendous help from my lovely wife! Thank you.
