I was thrilled to participate in a fun, local tournament here in Minnesota, organized by the Hillside Church Badminton Ministry. This year’s theme was anime and cartoons, which made for a really creative and enjoyable event. I had the honor of leading Team Airbenders, and I’m proud to say we bent the competition to our will! We had an incredible team whose “airbending” skills were truly top-notch. We ultimately dominated the Mighty Simbas in the finals to take home the championship!
I’d like to extend a huge thank you to all the organizers for putting together such a wonderful event. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to my better half for her unwavering support, especially with a newborn at home. Finally, a special thank you to my sons- Scion and Sanid, whose inspiration fueled me throughout every match.
With that, I’m already looking forward to the 2025 MNBA Open at the end of August. Wish me luck!
